I’ve weeded out most overly processed food from my diet. I’m eating mostly food I cook directly – fresh veggies, meat, etc, and have been staying away from rice, pasta and bread – this mostly due to the uncomfortable feeling I get in my stomach after eating such things. I’m also now down to drinking a 20oz bottle or two of Mountain Dew a week. I’m doing tea every morning, drinking water and generally feeling a great deal better than I have in a while.

On this diet, its easier to tell how quickly I need to stop eating in order to keep from getting full, and I have more of an awareness of how certain foods affect me.

I’ll still eat processed crap from time to time, but its no longer a staple of my diet.

I feel really good about this. I think I’m doing pretty good for slowly sliding into 50  I’ll be 47 this November, which blows my mind.
